I think its an awesome idea and a longtail will always have an advantage in certain situations. But, I would still rather have my PD.

Good idea for the guys that still want a longtail but I don't think it's gonna have that much of an advantage over a surface because its gonna have an 11" prop. Only advantage it will have now is the reach. I'm like Owen I will still rather have the gtr and reverse

We still use longtails here in south florida's skinny water/hard bottom areas. I am most interested in the gear reduction and better drivability. The only concern is the clutch- neutral is cool but not necessary in my book; this adds an unreliable component- hope a gear reduction model/ no clutch will be available as well. I use a 27 and welcome that they will try and apply it to the lower HP's as well. Can't beat the price either!
