You can go do your brands webpage and they will list what size is recommended for what motor. My 23 runs a 9x6 but they told me if I run a larger boat with heavier loads go 9x5 or small boat light loads 9x7. If your running a big boat with heavy load go down a notch in pitch Sent via telegraph |

i run a 8 3/4 x 5 hopkins prop on my 16hp pushing a 1436 alumacraft from academy by myself i get 19 mph surface driving it and 16 mph with the cav plate in the water and 17mph surface driving it with me and a buddy both at about 230lbs im very pleased with it hope this helps |

My go devil 16 came with a 9x3. 1442 weldcraft i run 17 @ 3200 rpms. I weigh 220. Loaded down with son, ice chest, and all hunting gear 15mph @ 3200 rpms Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
