I just replaced my shaft and prop. Last year when I had a 1/4 play on the prop I would get a knock now and again. Once the prop rusted to the shaft I didnt notice it anymore. I have a bit of play in the new prop, it this whats making the knock? The rpms dont change and the engine seems to run fine. It only does it around 3000rpms or greater and when under load. It doesnt do it when Im surfacing the prop in shallow water. Please help.
