Well just bought my first godevil, a godevil crawfish model with a 13 hp grey hound harbor freight engine. There is no throttle cable on it. Where can I find one? Also how would this do on my 12 foot xtra wide or is if too big?

call godevil they will set up you as the owner with the serial number on the frame, then theirs isnt much. But they have a minimum shipping price so go ahead and get things you will need to maintain your lt, like bushings, bearings, seals ect. when i order seals and bushings i get several sets to keep JIC or you can get a throttle at a lawnmower repair, tractor supply, gokart, or bicycle shop. P.S. gokart sites are good for giving rigging tips.

I'm new to the game myself. How long do yall get out of a set of bushing and bearings? I will be mainly in open water, not a whole lot of grass and mud.

my top bushing is going on several years now, 4 maybe?, the bottom every two. The seals i change bottom yearly and the top when i see it leaking. i repack shaft tube grease yearly. It all depends on what you will be driving in, silt, saltwater, sand, ect. If you keep it you are going to have to replace these things. Btw in silty water and im sure others, the seals will actaully wear a groove in the drive shaft making it leak grease.

You can make a throttle cable - use a uni-lawnmower cable, a bike cable, etc... Probably cheaper too.
