I'm looking at getting a whole new rig and looking at a tracker grizzly 1648 and pairing it with a SWOMP 35 from backwater. However I'm a little worried about it being too much motor for that boat any thoughts or experience? |

I have a 35 gator tail on a 1642 skiff with no problem |

I have the 1754 grizzly with a 35hp MBLT, you will be fine. No way too much motor. |

I have a 1648 Tracker Grizzly ran it for three years with a 25 long tail got 22mph out of it . Now i have a 35 GTR on the same boat and it runs 31 MPH with out any issues! |

Why did you go with the SWOMP? Did you look at the new mud buddy Super Long Tail? |

I run that boat w/ a 36PD. Runs good. |
