I picked up a 16hp vanguard for a couple hundred bucks. The 16hp runs pretty good but im wanting a 35hp. The question is can i put a 35hp vanguard on the tail and change just the prop or would it be to much engine for the tail to handle. ohh yeah its a go devil any tips would help out alot.

crank height is different, and 35 is alot heavier, balance point would need to be changed. you can go to a 23hp with only a prop change. 14-23hp is the same block.
