i really would rather not to cut it cause it has been re braced and i run a outboard on it too

You could always cut it down then add a jackplate for the outboard. Lower the jackplate for the mud motor, then raise it for the outboard.

well that gives me some options. i have heard of lt being set up for tall transoms i didnt know how people did it or if there are kits to buy

First you need to find out if your motor is for a short transom or tall transom. my longtail was made for a tall transom and works good on my tall transom boat.
