What kinds of speeds would I be getting with my 20hp go devil on my 14x38 Jon boat? Would I get better speeds if I weld floatation pods on the back? |

How about you try this. Take the boat out and run it with gps and let us know what kind of speeds you get. There are to many unknown variables such as, boat condition, motor condition, prop condition, your weight, gear weight, type of terrain, etc. |

I get 18 by myself with a wore prop so u sholud do better than that with longer and skinnier boat ... i dont no how accurate that is going off the GPS Speedometer on my phone but the most ive seen it off is +/- 3 mph from the garmin in my truck |
