 Honda GX670 Question
Ok I just bought a 24hp Honda GX670 V-Twin on a beavertail frame. It didnt come with a fuel line, just the short line attached to the motor. What I am wondering is if this engine has a fuel pump on it. My cousin who knows a whole lot more about engines than I do said I needed to buy a fuel pump to put on it, and that it didnt have one. This just sounded off to me.
So my question is this, does it have a fuel pump? If not what brings the fuel into the motor? Do i need one? If it has one where is it located?
Thanks in advance

 Re: Honda GX670 Question
Yep, its got a small fuel pump under the breather box.
A primer bulb in the fuel line is a good Idea.

 Re: Honda GX670 Question
The motor comes equipped with a " pulse pump" throw that piece of shit away, a 1.5-3 psi 12v epump is your ticket! When you start wanting to "mod" it holler at SETX performance for some headwork you won't be disappointed

 Re: Honda GX670 Question
You can run with the stock pump, but an electric pump will save you from an occasional fuel starvation stall if your tank is in the front.
It looks like this:
It's just off top center to the right in this picture.
I run the stock diaphragm pump in line with the electric pump and primer bulb as Go-Devil sold it. If your electric pump lays down on you, the stock pump will run the motor pretty well. You may or may not fuel starve it if your tank is in the front, but a quick prime and you are off again.
