Where would be the best place to buy a replacement universal both local and online? I had mine shred the key and strip out the knotch in it. This is a homebuilt so no manufactureer to call on it. Thanks |

Thanks everyone, I took the old one off this morning and noticed that it stripped out the key groove on the shaft as well... I was thinking about drilling a hole through the universal and shaft and inserting a pin to hold it all together instead of using the key as this is the second time I've had one strip out. What do you guys think of this? |

Everything I've heard says don't drill through the shaft, it will create a serious weak spot. As much as it sucks, you might have to replace your shaft. |
