Now that Lifan motors arent being imported anymore, what has been the best cheap clone motor that people have been using? I know that they are all basically the same motor but there have got to be some quality differences between them. |

Predator is a good choice from HF, but if you are looking at something a little bigger the duromax 16hp is hard to beat for the price. |

google carroll stream motors not as quite as cheap as a duromax, but better fit and finish have bought several duromax motors but the last one was the carroll stream and prefer it |

Here's two 16hp duromax engines that I built a few weeks ago... I've been watchin those CS's and thought about pullin the trigger on the 22hp for another build, just too hard when you don't need it. ($300 > $1000)  Those engines look sharp on the site and I saw someone around here had build one or two with these engines and it just reaffirmed my thoughts about these engines.

Duro Max engines are available from Maxtool.com. Look to be good engines. Mine just came in. Shipping was fast and best of all FREE! |
