just bought a go devil frame with no engine..i measured the prop and its 9x3 can someone recommend an engine to install on it to me...thanks |

Measure from the plate the engine mount to, up to the center of the driveshaft. This will better determine what motor to put on it. |

This will give you the shaft height needed for the frame, of course this can be modified. |

looks to be somewhere close to 6 1/2 to 7 inches by eyeballing it real quick with a tape...its raining...lol |

Call GD with serial number. They can tell you the history of this motor. |

The serial number also gives a clue to the original motor. E.g. BS166 means a 16 Briggs and a 6ft shaft. A 9x3 is a stock prop for the 16 Briggs Vanguard GDLT |
