Well yesterday I went out and bought my first mud rig. New 1850 Beavertail with a 27 hp kohler long tail. I know its not going to be breaking any speed records, but as long as it gets me where Im wanting to go. Planning the maiden voyage later this week. It will be interesting driving a longtail for the first time. ![]() |

Took her out today. Things went well . I took it easy , 2 guys and 2 doz dekes and she scooted along well. After getting chomped on by mosquitos for 3 hours we called it quits. Managed 8 ducks though. Not a complete waste of time. ![]() |
