Just got me a used Go Devil Long tail, and was wondering what you all carry on board with ya, as tools, extra parts....

I took her out for the madien voyage and pulled the kill cord, killing the engine and then couldnt get her to start again.... until that is I got home and unhooked her. Then she started right up hahaha
Test ran motor view time yesterday using kill switch.. then plugging back in and she worked ok. My luck.
Will try again tomorrow
Thanks
Jon

I carried just basic tools : pliers, flat and phillips screwdrivers, small hammer, crescent wrench, and a multi-tool. I also had a spare primer bulb for fuel line, hose clamps, spark plugs, extra killswitch, fuel line splicers, assorted fuses, zip ties and about 100' of 550 cord. Everything fit inside a small tackle box.

I know both of the GD's I had leaked plenty of grease, so I always said "have grease gun will travel". I do recommend both synthetic oil and grease for used motors. I would try and remove the prop, clean the threads, and apply anti-seize grease. I would also recommend you get a spare prop asap. My throttle wire broke one time so I carry a spare throttle assembly.

super glue and electrical tape...

I had the plastic nipple break off the primer bulb once, I trimmed the bulb body enough to stick the nipple in it and used superglue gel. I'd run a bead around it and let dry then another bead, then slipped the feul line over it and let it dry. It got me back and i bought a new primer bulb but didnt change it to see how long the fix would last...that was back in April and it's still holding. LOL
