old longtail upper bushing question

 old longtail upper bushing question
First post awesome site anyway, I have and old R. hand thread all seal and bushing go devil and want to put a bearing in the top collar so my question is do I leave the top bushing as it is, do I ream it out i lil, or do I totally remove it? Just seeing if I an get a quick answer before I learn through trial and error, Thanks.

yea they upgrade the older models. mine is an 1986 upgraded to a 2000 model seals end caps, grease pressure cup, and center bushing.
