Hi, this combo is bit slow about 7mph. That is with about 200lb load, one hunter, some gear all balanced and and prop adjusted to run just under surface. The boat is about 14', 150lb fiberglass, motor about 70lb. Is what to expected from this setup? |

I fig that's about right. I built a a longtail with a Honda clone I didn't use a u joint built it like a stump jumper but with a longer tail 6 ft tail. I put it on a 1432 loaded I'm 185 bl 18 decoys gun blind bag a really fat dog where getting 9- 10 mph The only mod I did to motor is increased plug gap to .45. |
