 Not getting a charge from the alternator

Post Not getting a charge from the alternator
A few years back I had a new set of magnets put in, but since then I have not been getting a charge to the battery. I know it is working bc I can run the motor with out the battery hooked up. It's never been a problem, I just charge the battery before I go out in it. Any suggestions or quick fixes?
