 shaft size question.
I have a question about long tail shaft sizes. I have a 5 hp with a 3/4" output shaft and a 3/4" shaft to the prop. Does bigger motors such as the 15 or 20 or such have a 3/4" shaft to prop also or a bigger one. I know output size will be different but is the prop shaft also? I want to put a bigger motor and prop but worried I would have to change shafts also.

 Re: shaft size question.
Same shaft size. Doubt you'll be able to get a motor much bigger that'll still fit your frame.

 Re: shaft size question.
Ill weld a bigger plate on it and adjust the cavitation plate. Jist wasn't sure about the shaft. Didn't think a 3/4" shaft would hold up to the abuse of a 25.
