 hauling 25hp godevil
Going to pick up my longtail today. Do all go devil longtails swivel into the boat for easier transport or does it just hang out the back of the boat?

Find the serial number stamped on your frame just in case they ask you for it.

 Re: hauling 25hp godevil
My MB LT came with a swivel bracket. I lengthened the battery and gas lines to allow me to do this but I did not like the weight of the motor hanging farther back so I went back to the "conventional" method. For night trailering I can suggest adding a movable third light to the prop end.

 Re: hauling 25hp godevil
10-4 on that bike light! What Gigafowl said. I use two sets of heavy duty bungee tie downs- one looped around like the GD way. Of course the gunwale strap is kind of a fail safe. If you have a rear bench seat, a boat cushion or the like is indicated between the handle/seat if they make contact to soften bumps. An additional tie down can be placed from the mid-frame shaft area to the rear boat handles (if you have them) or suitable tie points to prevent any side to side sway while trailering. To avoid those little ole ladies, I leave real early and use my emergency lights if necessary when vehicles are approaching from behind.

 Re: hauling 25hp godevil
I know on my next longtail I will get the swivel added. Just turn your motor in your boat throw a strap over it and it is locked down.
