Is there much difference between these two for a 25hp longtail? |

All the LT mfg.'s make good props: GD, MB, BackH2O...I currently am running a Ron Hill prop which has been very good and sound and after four seasons shows little wear-I paid a lot less for it I use a 9x6 although the 27 HP I have is rated for the 9x7. So much on an LT is where you run, altitude, load, etc. You can't go wrong with whatever mfg. your motor is- a homebuilt you take your pick. You might find out what other LT users in your vicinity are running for their 25's. The MB Tiger prop was very good but I sheared it hitting some coral rock- guess any make would have been damaged as well. Before that happened I compared the Tiger and the Hill and the Hill was 1 mph slower. With my previous GD props, I noticed I actually gained 1-2 mph after some wear. My other advice is to get a backup with another set of washers and nuts; when you remove your prop, each time clean the threads and apply anti-seize. |

Backwaterinc.com props are great. Not very expensive and run very well. Well worth it. |

Has anyone received a new tiger prop. I have had from freinds order MB tiger prop and not get the tiger prop. I also read some posts about them not sending Tiger props. |

We ran a 29hp mud buddy and switched from a tiger to backwater. And the back water doesn't seem to hold up as well as the tiger. Just my .02 |

I don't think you can go wrong with a Backwater prop. Quality is great along with the customer service AND all the advice that comes with it is free. |

I like the backwaterinc prop for sure. May lose a little bit on top end, but load it up and the speed doesn't change much. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2 |
