loosen the throttle arm and attach it through holes on the back of the arm (the bracket is sometimes hard to get to with the air cleaner and gas tank in the way). Might also need to get a spring to help act as a return. Run it to a clutch lever from one of those chinese ATV's, they can easily be ordered for $15 online. |

On Briggs motors theres a clamp that holds the Cable. I don't know what that motor has but it should have something. I dont think zip ties are going to hold. |

Your clutch lever attaches over the handle coming off of the frame. You can take your cable that attaches the clutch lever to the throttle arm on the motor and zip tie the cable shroud directly to your handle. Allowing the cable to slide within the shroud and move your throttle arm. The shroud should also fit in a smaller bracket around the throttle arm on the motor to keep it under tension and from slipping and moving with the cable. This thread should answer alot of your questions... viewtopic.php?f=6&t=37586&p=452196&hilit=squeeze#p452196 |
