Grab bar set up for riveted boat
Just wondering the best way to set up a grab bar on a flimsy ass riveted boat. As of now I am riveting a 3/8 plate on the side and welding a half pipe on a stringer. Welding j shape 2inch pipe to both

Re: Grab bar set up for riveted boat
We put a .100" sheet in for the floor on my buddy's and rivnuts in that to attach the base then bolted the top part through the extruded gunnel. It was a grab bar out of a war eagle though. This is the only picture I've got on my phone and its crappy.

Re: Grab bar set up for riveted boat
Thanks for the pic. I took the middle seat out so that gives me one less place to secure bar to.
