I have a 2009 35hp longtail. Yesterday after taking it out for an afternoon hunt my motor is knocking really bad. It's never happened before like this. Before it started knocking the motor just died all of a sudden while driving and then when I got the motor to start again it just started knocking really bad. Sounded like someone was hitting it with a metal hammer!!! I also noticed that the two bottom bracket holding the exhaust is crack on both sides! Does anyone know what might be wrong with my motor? Also what I can check in order to get this fixed? Anything will help! |

Did ya check the oil, u joints? |

Ya might just want to take it to someone. The u joints are what connects the motor to the shaft. I would guess it's not that but some thing in the motor. |

Also make sure the magnets did not come off the flywheel.. Motor will still run but make awful sound every revolution. |
