 23hp StumpJumper help??
I have a 23hp stumpjumper that I bought last season. It ran fine and then started losing power. Took apart the shaft and found the the bearings and seals were shot. I cant seem to find a # on them. I ordered a new shaft but need help knowing what seals and bearings to buy for the top and bottom. Anybody have a stumpjumper that has replaced the seals and bearings? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks , Chris...

 Re: 23hp StumpJumper help??
A little secret on bearings, as long as they are ball bearing type - measure the OD, the ID, and the thickness, preferably in millimeters (you can convert inches to mm's by multiplying by 25.4) then go to NTN's bearing search () and put in ball bearing, then fill in appropriate sizes - it will show you the correct number of the bearing.
The seal is the same principal, you will need the OD, ID, and thickness in mm's
Your local bearing supply will most likely have what you are looking for... Or, you can just carry the parts to them and they can determine what you have...
