 16 hp prop question
I have a 16hp long tail and was wondering if an 8 x 6 prop would work? I usually have 2 or 3 people in my 1448.

 Re: 16 hp prop question
it will last just might not perform for as long as you might expect. It wont be anything that will strand you just one day if you are going slower than normal you might look at the prop to find half an inch or so missing..

 Re: 16 hp prop question
I've got an 8x4 on my 13hp on a 1636 and it spins it right at the stock governor setting no problem. I'd go with the 9x3 and gain a little traction in the slop, should also carry a load better too.
