i have a 16x42 weld built with a 16hp long tail what speeds should i see with just me and fuel.... what size prop should i run any help would be nice thanks fellerssss 8-)

Considerin your size................. about 3 mph. :o

Just kiddin man. You might get up around 15ish or so. That motor runs a 9x3 prop. I tried a 16 on my ole 1836 skiff and wit the ole lady and my two lil girls we ran 16 mph. Only reason I say 15ish or so with your boat is cause of the 16 foot length. I think longer is better for everything but your boat might surprise us. Dont know.

hahahahahah ya got jokes... im not the one with the beer gut.. :lol: :lol: .. but anyways i hope it runs a lil faster than that im hoping but if not ... ole well as long as it get me to my blind and back im happy

It shall go......as fast as your truck will pull it. :P I get 15 easy outta my 1648 w/ 24 hp. You should get something like that, considering your boat is a little narrower and probably considerably lighter than this thing.

wel then i should be in world record for pulling my boat 70 mph so my boat look like a drag boat lol
