Gator glides effectiveness with a LT
Gonna be getting a slick hull sooner or later. Will gator glide be worth it with the lower spreeds of a long tail or is it mostly for the higher speed SD's. I am running tall lilies not much mud

Not saying I don't trust gator glides estimate on material but how much to do a 1748 do you think?

^X2. It makes a world of difference. H. Finn helped do mine and it actually came in handy Sunday morning. Went through this with ease. Mime is a 14x36 crawdad being chased by a 16 gdlt

Re: Gator glides effectiveness with a LT
It is definitely worth it if you run in heavy vegetation at all. After results were incredible running in the nasty thick stuff. We can now get through where we would not even have tried before. We run almost nothing that really scratches it though so I cannot attest to how well it holds up in the timber or rocky cover

Re: Gator glides effectiveness with a LT
Just put 1/2 gallon of gator base on a 18/46, got 4 thin coats on it. Frog said thin is better. Going to put 1/2 gallon of G2 on it next weekend.

Re: Gator glides effectiveness with a LT
Frog, I run where there are a lot of stumps and not a lot of Hyacinth, and it's light brackish water, so when the water is high, barnacles grow on the stumps, but come Nov/Dec, the water gets low and exposes the stumps/barnacles. Am I better off without the glide being that I'll probably be recoating year-in/year out?

Re: Gator glides effectiveness with a LT
I have a 1750 with a 27lt. I have only used it twice since putting 1/2 gal gatorbase and 1/2 gal G2
But today tested in skinny water and vegetation with 3 fat phuckers, and hunting load, I was pleasantly surprised how easy is was to get out. I ran the same spot year without gatorglide and had more trouble.
Plus launching and retrieving boat is much easier.
And David's customer service is top top top notch
