Last season I had my boat out and as I was heading back to the dock, in the dark, and I started losing power and heard a "tick." The ticking increased with the RPM's. Checked the oil when I got back and it was full.

I have had it running on the stand in the garage and it didn't seem to do it. Haven't had it on the water yet but I'm a little nervous that under a load it may come back.

Any thoughts?

not sure about the tick but for loss in power, what do you have for your gas line connections. Start at your fuel tank and work your way back checking your connects. I ran into a very similar problem when I used quick connect. Only ran bad when under a load, ran fine out of the water.

Don't know of about the loss of power but mine makes some crazy noises from the prop loosening and tightening on the shaft
