Losing power when we put the prop in the water. Runs fine outside the water. The motor is falling on its' face when the prop hits the water. Thoughts? Thanks! |

Also, check your spark plugs, foul 1 and it runs fine unloaded, but won't take a load... |

If it had been making "popping sounds" with severe loss of power, do a leak down test, and you will find it is probably one of the coils...went bad. Better replace both of em when you do. |

Might also want to check on your cavitation plate, if mounted too steep the load applied will sometimes cause the motor to die out. Kinda like killing out a lawn mower by running it through real thick grass too quickly. |

Could be low on oil...I had this problem, and it was the oil level on my dip stik was wrong. I added oil, and that fixed my vacuum. |
