Where can I get seals for a 9hp go devil? I know you can call go devil with a serial number but this frame dosent have one. The frame was my grandpaws and he told me he bought it from them 20plus years ago. I put my caliper on the bushings and got those locally but can't find seals.

My 9 hp GD I bought 20 years ago had the serial number stamped into the frame. Call GD and tell them what you have. Bet they will help you out.

I found a brand new set of seals in my cabinet, bought them for my 25 longtail but never used them. Any chance they're the same seals? If so, you can have 'em.

Send me some dimensions on what you've got.

They won't give anything if you don't have a serial number.

OK, I've got a bag of 3/4" seals that I labeled Go-Devil shaft seals (wrong ones) that have the following markings on them: TAIWAN TOM 075112 TOY. I got these from GD but they weren't the ones I had ordered.

I also have a bag of 3/4" seals I labeled #4B Lower Seals, P/N 20810-LPDW.

That's all I know about them. You can have them if they'll help you.

I'm pretty sure the seals are proprietary. I think they have someone make the seals just for them.

seals are simple. Get an SKF seal book from Kaman and match up your ID, OD, and lip construction and you will be set to go. They really arn't very expensive.

Thanks for the tip! SKF actually has android and iPhone apps for both seals and bearings.
