Need a little help here..... Looking for info on how to disable the leveling sensor for starting a mudbuddy longtail..I've got the wiring diagram but do not see it listed in the schematic.. What am I missing here?????? |

i had a 27 kohler gdlt, i was havin problems with that mercury leveler falling off, the screw kept commin out, i got a new bolt, and turned it vertical so that it would start in any position, didnt have to take it off. |

Why don't you disconnest the safety kill switch too? That way, when that thing starts up at about 1/2 throttle and throws you out of the boat, it can spin around and ......... Ever see anyone run over by a boat? Those stainless steel props make nice, evenly spaced gashes from your neck down to your feet. I'm 30 years Fire - Rescue on the Gulf Coast and have seen SEVERAL! Leave the damm safety devices alone! The motor builders put them there for a reason! Sheeeeeesh! |

Really appreciate the helpful insight here... This is not one of the redneck moments that goes something like this... Hey Bubba...hold my beer and watch this..... ![]() I'm working with an older jonboat (16" transom) that requires me to practically touch my toes to get the damn motor level enough to start it. I figured it out....process of elimination by following the wires off the starter. Ya'll have a great season. |
