I currently have a scav enger back h2o motor and it's a POS! I'm looking to get a backH2o INC. frame and using my honda 660 motor on it. What's y'all's thoughts about the backH2o frames?

I'm not knocking backwaters in fact I have nothing bad to say about them. I am not a Mayhem owner or dealer but I do have one being built. I did a lot of research on long tails including backwater but chose Mayhem because of the quality in the frame and shaft/bearing design.

I thinks they used that maul to bent that bar that goes to the cav plate. Yeah, that looks much better than BW cave plate

I don't think their prop shaft is long enough. They should add 4"

Someone drop the ban hammer on Mayhem73. Anyone who'd recommend that longtail, much less recommend it over a Back Water or even a Go-Devil must have a screw loose.

I guess it would be alright as long as you never ran grass, or stumps, or rocks, or mud, or shallow water.

They need to do some serious R&D on that thing.

I'm no engineer, but damn, don't they know putting that bend in that piece decreases the lateral strength of the cavitation plate pushing against it? I've never in my life seen a crooked dick gusset.
