1646 skiff 3/16" bottom 1/8" sides Front deck with storage 5 longitudinal braces 2x2x1/8 10" rake 16" transom Weighs about 325 23 hp backwater swomp Exposed braces no false floor Maiden voyage tonight with me, bag of decoys 24 mph in slight chop Need to most definitely get a grab bar welded in quickly Pics to come in the next few days. |

325 lbs.! Wow, my 1648 grizzly weighs 395 and I grumble about that. Who makes a boat in that configuration and gauge that is so light! I want an 1848 in that gauge ! The speed is unreal for sure. Thanks for sharing! |

Dang! Even with an alum floor over the braces (and I would want some flotation) the weight would be under 400# for sure. I bet an 1846/1848 or even a 2046 would be the ticket with a 35 Swomp! I bet you must have at least advanced the throttle to 4200 rpm out of the water? If you have not and did you'd realize another 2 mph. Adding steelflex or gatorglide would not help speed but sure help in the mud/veggies. Please post pics of this hull! |

Why do some manufacturers names get asterisked out??? Gator Tail Mud Buddy Backwater Pro Drive Copperhead OK, I guess more specifically, why does backH2O get the "*"?? |
