This isnt the site to get anything positive concerning the SPORT V or SPORT H motors, and really, MB in general. Quite a few guys have been burned by their customer service, and others forget that all of these mudmotors have similar problems, and regardless if their dealer took care of them or not, they went to a different brand. Can't blame them for that. In general, I've never had a problem that wasn't corrected quickly if I called MB, and I have had VERY few issues out of any of them that I've owned or ran.

The V's are a new design and have been delayed numerous times due to manufacturing or design issues (i can't say which for sure). There have been horror (or humorous if they aren't your motor) stories of them falling off the transoms while traveling down the road, handles breaking, etc. Google, and SEARCH this site. They have come up a lot in conversation on this and other forums.

Hence me telling him to SEARCH. MB will either get it right or they won't eventually, but there are reviews here and elsewhere covering all the issues and the good rather than digging this up again for someone that can't even figure out the proper name of the damn thing when he asks for info (much less realize it's not a Longtail and put his question in the correct forum).

How large and setup, what kind of load, primary use, type of are you'll be using? Lots of info before an accurate recommendation by these guys can be made. And if that's going to be your question, go to the review section and look at what's been done. There is a LOT of information there to help you whittle it down. And the Cyber mudfest section has many people asking the same thing you just asked. If you need help, PM me, and I'll help you learn the search and how to weed through the results to find those posts. These guys have spent a large amount of time answering these very questions to help, don't let it go to waste.

They'll be more than willing if you can be more detailed with your questions as well, especially if you've shown to put in a bit of effort.

Be a douche if you want, but I do see that no one else has tried to help, and it's obvious you want an answer without going through much effort. You'll be much happier with your boat/motor if you'll actually read what guys with significant amounts of experience have already written on this site. There's no single answer to "I have a big boat, what motor do i need", and there's no good answer without more information from you with that question.

If your user name is any indication to where you are located, contact Illowa Marine. They are a sponsor here, build and power large boats in the Midwest. User name "Muddoctor" is the owner.

Can we make a new rule that you have to be a member here for like 2 months and/or logged in at least 10 times before you're allowed to post? So many of the same exact threads.
