Looking for some guidance ive got an al frame beavertail I put a 9 Subaru on. its going on a 1436 Waco im looking to get best speed I can. not much mud here just sand and grass most suggest a 7x4 wondering who would be best bang for the buck mud buddy backwater?? 7x4-8x4 most comin load will be me nephew dog and couple dekes I know I wont be a speed demon but it will have to do till I build a shortie thanks for any help ![]() |

on my 7 HP motors I run a 7 x 5 and it works well. I would think that you want more prop than that for 9 HP. I run 8 x 6 on my 14s. The 8 x 4 that you mentioned - maby. You need to talk to a good prop man, given the cost of a good prop. Mark F. Cheney |

Also looking at the Hopkins 7.75 ill have to call and find the difference in a 4 or 6 pitch |
