Is this motor to much for this boat? It's an all welded boat. |

I've got a 16 gdlt on a 1436 and it handles it well. It can get unstable at tine but it floats it ok. Good luck and wear your kill switch lanyard. |

Should be fine... My piece of shit 1436 handles well with my 16 gdlt. And due to the way this boat is used, it gets overloaded regularly and I've never really been concerned at all. When you bounce off trees while heavily loaded you'll take a little bit of water every now and then, but like I said, nothing alarming |

Just be careful when making a sharp turn and extending past the hull. That's when the small boats like to take in water. |

Buddy of mine runs a 1236 with a 1236. I've watched him flip it after hitting another boats wake wrong. That being said I run a 1436 with a 20hpm longtail with no problems. |
