I have a 1448 flat that I'm looking to hang a new motor on. I currently have a 20 hp long tail that I can run 18 with 2 pol and a dog. Do yall think a 35 would be too much on the back of that boat? |

Ya thats to much weight for a 14 foot boat. If your getting 18 with 2 boys thats pretty dam good. |

Only way I can buy a whole new set up would be if I found a boat with a lt already on it for around 5000. There is just something that keeps making me want to go long tail vs surface drive. One is the fact I never drove a surface drive. |

No I know it's not hard to drive, I'm worried about getting stuck and stuff. |

Henderson is about the worst of it |

I meant like hard shallow bottom. A surface drive will do well in Henderson. Dg is on his second one and he hunts there. |
