Does anyone know where U-joint grease shrouds for go devils or similar long tails are sold? I cannot find these anywhere for the life of me. I want one to keep the grease from slinging on my transom. Yes I know I may keep over-greasing these joints but it keeps happening. I have seen a few on here a couple were aluminium the other was a camo neoprene one wrapped around. |

Beavertail had camo fabric that went across for a shield. And had Velcro on it for easy access to u-joint. You could probably build it yourself. |

My u-joint doesn't throw much grease at all. The bearings on the u-joint actually have little seals on them. Either you have different u-joint or yours has bad seals. |

Yeah only problem is I am in South Georgia. Not many mud motor dealers located anywhere around here. My seals might be bad they dont scream or anything just when I pump grease sometimes I over pump and excess comes out around the seals. |

Get a neoprene beer can cooler and cut the end tie on with 2 cable ties. |

I'd replace the u joint regardless. Pull it out and take it to a Parts house or driveline shop and match it up. Also I use to have a homemade beavertail style longtail and had a canvas tarp material shield on it. Had eyelets in it and secured with zip ties. |
