Hey guys new to the forum. Just bought my first longtail and took her for a spin. Fun as hell but have many questions.
1. Is it common for the motor to want to buck out of the water at at 1/2-3/4 throttle? No mud just water.
2. How important is it to have the tilt stop bolt under the motor adjusted and set before a run? How do you properly set it?

Any info is appreciated guys.
Rig is a g3 1756
motor is a 35 hp marsh monster

1. No - bend the cav plate to fix that
2. Depends on where you run. I like being able to dig deep in my neck of the woods
Set it by seeing how low you want it to go. Then turn the bolt to stop it at that location.

Let us know how it runs after you bend the Cav plate.
