A while back I asked about the bblades longtail props and did not get much feedback. They are up in Wisconsin and the basic prop is listed at $129 uncoated ($149 uncoated with hub) and coated at $219. These incorporate a hex hub to make removal easier. Anybody confirm their performance? I like the idea, I believe the Area 51 MB SLT motor uses this type of prop? The basic idea and definitely the price are attractive. They only come in a 9x6 and 9x7, limiting them to the 25-31 HP ranges. |

I sold em for a couple of years. Pretty good/durable props, but you'll have to tighten the prop nut every time you smack something with it. I recomend the coated one. |

Thanks, Doctor! Any word on the MB SLT? I thought I saw you name written when I last asked about those motors? Next time I have som spare moolah I may get one. Usually when I hit any coral rock, it is the end of the prop- submerged roots and gators don't mess them up. ![]() |
