 Need advice
I have an eleven horsepower BeaverTail that I inherited. What do you recommend would be the best size boat for this motor? I hunt mostly marshes in Wisconsin, mostly alone but on occassion will have two people in the boat. Thanks for any advice.

 Re: Need advice
Welcome to MMT...
I had an 8 hp GoDevil Longtail for years and we pushed all sizes of boats with it - even a 20x72 w/140 jet as a second motor....
At 11 hp you will have a ton of power - but it will be hard to get 2 guys into plane....
Best suggestion is a cheap mid size hull - slick bottom true mudboat if you can find one in your budget - 18' x 48" wide is about the most universal size for the bigger engines - in case you upgrade later....
Find the sponsors page here and call some of them - they may have some good deals on used hulls....
