 Crawfsh vs. Longtail
I'm thinking about trying a GD Crawfish ! The GD Crawfish has a 54" shaft and the GD LT has a 72" shaft, the largest motor available is a 20 hp. In a shallow water situation without a soft mud bottom . Which will be the easiest to operate with the least amount of work? Which will have the greatest speed? And will there be a difference in fuel comsumption?
Any expierenced input is welcome; Thanks

 Re: Crawfsh vs. Longtail
first off the short shaft will be faster and better in the woods thats y they call it crawfish model cuz alot of us southern coonasses crawfish ... but i think a long tail will be better in the mudd cuz of more leveage to dig in it i might be wrong i have a 23 hp long tail on a 16x48 all weld and i love gets me where i wanna go its not the fastest but it gets the job done best thing is to do is demo both of them and fuel wont be an issue they burn the same lt r short
