Just ordered one this morning. Got the Predator engine. I have the same engine on my lawnmower and it has ran fine for 3 years with zero issues. Putting the Wood Duck on a Momarsh Fatboy DP. The trolling motor I had on it was ok but it really lacked in pushing through junk, plus the weight of the battery was there. Should be shipped out from factory by Sept 15th. This is going to be nice to have this year. Curl |

I talked to those guys a couple weeks ago at the MN game fair - they seemed like great guys and their motors looked real good, really light and balanced - be sure to put up a review when you get it up and running |

Jake is sharp dude. Those little motors are very well thought out and perfect for use on layouts since they detach. You'll be happy. |

Man i have been drooling over these for a long time. Finally said "what the heck am I waiting for" and pulled the trigger. Kinda neat too that a buddy of mine and I were talking about layout boats yesterday evening while I was driving home from work. He wanted to know if I wanted to sell mine. Told him hell no and that I was about to order the PPF longtail. Come to find out, after I sent him all the links and contact info, he ordered one this morning too. He is also supposed to order some Gator Glide from David (FROG) to put on his rig. Sure is nice to have all this technology to research stuff ain't it? Thanks for the vote of confidence on the little longtail. Gonna have a blast getting into spots with ease now that used to take humping in by foot and walking through a mile of muck where you sink to your ass and your boots stay but your foot pulls out. Jake sounds like a stand up guy. Hope he takes me up on the offer to come hunt with us. Curl |

Yeah it was a sweet little motor, should compete with copperhead! The vid he posted on Facebook is good too, but he needs to work out the gearing and prop size and get the speed up a little bit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Engine ship date is mid September. I'll hook her up and see what it will do. Wish I had a GoPro to film where I'll be taking this thing.....wait, no I don't. Med and Owen know the lake too and they just might recognize. ![]() |

For any of you guys thinking about getting one but aren't sure about the quality of these motors. These things are very well built and should stand up to anything you put it through. Just got mine a few days ago and I am impressed. I put the racing kit on the predator engine and running it on a custom made 1230 aluminum flat I was getting 21 mph alone and 17 with 2 people. |
