I recently purchased a 23 hp go devil longtail used. The motor runs great but the exhaust and the bolts holding the exhaust on are pretty rusted. My buddy had his exhaust fall off after his bolts rusted through. I was just wondering if anybody had ever replaced their exhaust with a go devil factory exhaust and if so how much the muffler and hardware cost? I tried contacting go devil by email with my question and serial number but have yet to hear back from them.

Buddy of mine has a 23 copperhead and has had 3 exhausts crack right at the motor and he found a stainless muffler. It cracked too but might be good for you.

I would say try some stainless bolts but not sure if they would break off eventually.

You would probably be better off changing the bold ever so ofter.

You definitely don't want to get one of those steel bolt to galled up either.
