 Cavitation plate angle
He guys, i started to build my first long tail with a 55'' shaft for my Momarsh DP. What would be the right angle for the cavitation plate ?

I think it's a little different for every boat and transom height, 55" is pretty short. Just make it adjustable so you can fine tune your setup.

It should line up with your hull bottom.....
Just pull a string line under the hull and use that as a reference to weld the cavitation plate to the shaft housing.....
