He guys, i started to build my first long tail with a 55'' shaft for my Momarsh DP. What would be the right angle for the cavitation plate ? |

I think it's a little different for every boat and transom height, 55" is pretty short. Just make it adjustable so you can fine tune your setup. |

It should line up with your hull bottom..... Just pull a string line under the hull and use that as a reference to weld the cavitation plate to the shaft housing..... |
