... did you re-enforce it? If so how? Pics? I made the mistake of buying a 1448 w/ a 20" transom. It was already cut down, but for use with a standard motor. I really should have researched more on optimal boat length to LT use. |

Never mind, I sold the boat and bought a 1542 with a 15" transom. |

Nice! I have a 1548 with a 16" transom and a 31 hp godevil. This thing floats when the motor is running right. I have it in the shop right now I had a throttle issue. Im getting mid 20's with this set up. |

Good to know. I have a 25 HP Kohler GD. Hoping for high teens. So much to do between now and Saturday's early teal season! |

A 35hp would be a beast on there. The 31 hp on mine is like I said almost scary fast and has so much low end torque that it will almost throw me and everyone else out the boat if I drop the prop in the water too fast. It's a work out too. But definitely fun. |
