Almost completed my long tail build ImageUploadedByTapatalk1410749308.193694.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1410749572.893303.jpg
I took it for a test run just me and the dog, haven't built my cavitation plate yet. The engine planed out great but prop started to slip after 2500 Rpms. Will the cav plate fix this? I'm running a 9x5 backwater. Top speed 11mph actually went slower when I really got on the throttle.

Re: 18hp long tail build, prop slip
How deep was the prop when it was slipping. If it is not fully submerged it will slip. The cav plate will help with this
