Just picked up a 1648 tracker grizzly and want to also pick up a 35hp SWOMP motor. Anyone out there running the same combo, if so how do u like it and what kinda speeds are u getting? Also will adding pods have any benefits? Thanks guys |

Well how do you like it? I've got the same boat and am looking at the same motor. How big a difference do the pods make? |

Shame! I was hoping for a report since I have the same hull, but short transom, and definitely want a 35SS swomp. The PD or any surface drive is generally counterproductive here where it is shallow and hard bottom. So, how does the PD fare on the Grizzly? |

Runs good with 3 guys (255,255.245lbs)a dog and blind, 6gal of gas an a batt I ran 22mph in rough water, I went with the SD cause where I hunt its mostly soft mud an weggies and longer runs to different areas. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk |

Great speed with that load! I would have done the same if the conditions were like that here; lean toward the Gatortail design...even if it meant some creative financing! The ugly beauty of the longtail is its simplicity, reliability, and affordability (including long-term maintenance). |
