 20 hp Honda Lt help Just got a 20 hp LT and ive got it on a 15 42 semi v sea ark welded. Has a 21" transom. What speeds should I be seeing I'm only gettin 13 mph in deep water

Re: 20 hp Honda Lt help The transom height and the boat itself are most likely killin your speed (unless its a long shaft longtail (84" shaft vs 72")) an ideal transom height is 16" and the boat should be a true flat... another thing to look into is prop wear... Get ya a tiny tach and install it to monitor RPMs, knowing the RPMs you turn in the water is going to help to diagnose some of the issues so you can get the most out of your longtail...
